Brand special: CHN-BRAND publishes 2012 C-BPI research results
The China Brand Research Center (CHN-BRAND) has come out with its China Brand Power Index (C-BPI) for 2012, a survey that uses a consumer questionnaire to discover the types of products people use, with the aim of increasing the number and range of Chinese brands.
The C-BPI is an independent report made by the CHN-BRAND that gets funding from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is considered China's most reliable consumer-brand evaluation.
The 2012 C-BPI research area covers 30 cities across the country and examines brand awareness and loyalty by sector and category. This year's survey covers 152 sectors, up from 105 in the last one, and more than 6,800 brands. It targets people aged 15 to 60. Researchers have collected 13,500 responses.
