A retrospective of Fatih Akin's films

Turkish director Semih Kaplanoglu won the best film Golden Bear for Honey at the Berlin International Film Festival last month.

The Goethe-Institut China will present Turkish-German director Fatih Akin's films at the institute's China Library and Broadway Cinematheque Moma from March 12 through 22 to give audiences a snapshot of both German and Turkish culture.

The six films slated to be seen are Crossing the Bridge, Solino, In July, Short Sharp Shock, The Edge of Heaven and Head-On.
