A lesson in resource management

For Steven Loh, business management begins at the dinner table.

"My staff and I often enjoy meals together," said Loh, general manager of a joint venture of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp (WISCO).

But for the manager from Malaysia, the dinner table is a management classroom. He always asks those around the table to order only as much as they can eat. After the meal, Loh takes the lead in taking home the leftovers.
