Bungee jump here, according to the sign

China Daily | Updated: 2007-10-11 07:23

China is set to launch 86 standardized new signs, adding to the already extensive collection of symbols featuring toilets, telephones and bus stops.

The signs will feature symbols depicting different sports and modes of transport. The country released its first set of 15 public service symbols in 1983, including the one for elevators.

Even some newly emerging sports such as bungee jumping, driftage and surfing will feature on the new signs.
