Pedestrians not color blind, just lawbreakers
A recent survey indicated about 70 percent of pedestrians in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, thought they would be silly if they waited for the green light to cross the road.
Most of respondents break traffic rules because they believed police would punish only those who led other pedestrian jaywalkers.
The survey, conducted by local traffic police, interviewed more than 100 pedestrians.
More than 2,000 jaywalkers have been detained at crossings since August.

BOCOG thinks this idea will fly
Liu Yuxing, 68, has claimed to have made a powerful fly trap in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, sparking the interest of the Beijing Organizing Committee for Olympic Games (BOCOG).
Liu's trap is said to be able to catch more than 1,000 flies a day.
BOCOG has sent special personnel to the central metropolis to meet Liu, a retired engineer from Wuhan Steelworks.
