Perfect future for MBtech China

Headquartered in Germany, the MBtech Group offers services in four segments: vehicle engineering, powertrain solutions, electronics solutions and consulting. China Daily (CD) met with Tobias Monden (TM), managing director of MB SIM Technology Co Ltd and head of China Operation of the MBtech Group.

CD: Your company is now cooperating closely with the International Project Management Association (IPMA). How can participants benefit from the academy?

TM: The IPMA and its Project Management Academy offer Chinese automotive industries customized automotive project management solutions as well as training and coaching for project members, teams and organizations.

Supported by German MBtech experts, the academy offers a positive learning atmosphere and hands-on tips for participants to learn the most important project management methods and tools and how to apply them in real life projects.

CD: What can we expect from your company's presence at the "Automotive Testing Expo" in Shanghai?

TM: The MBtech Group will join the Automotive Testing Expo China from September 12-14 and will present its consolidated know-how in test engineering, e.g. the comprehensive tool suite for test automation PROVEtech:TA, which is successfully used on many different HiL test systems by automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

CD: Going forward, what is your outlook on the Chinese automotive market and MBtech's future?

TM: China is now the world's largest commercial vehicle market, but the infrastructure in many vast rural areas is still underdeveloped.

There are many challenges but meanwhile various future potentials arise, e.g. from clean energy technology- a vast field for MBtech's expertise on alternative propulsion.

Combined with its global expertise, MBtech will continue its strategic development and offer automotive engineering and consulting services to the Chinese automotive market.
