Special Supplement: City devises innovative measures to draw capital

Tonghua in Northeast China's Jilin Province is going all out to draw investors.

Sui Zhongcheng, mayor of the city, said: "We have seen our investment attracting efforts pay off and we expect to reap a bumper harvest during the upcoming trade gala, China Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo, in early September."

The first half of this year witnessed the inking of 32 investment projects, worth a total of 4.92 billion yuan. Of this, capital from overseas and other provinces accounted for 3.83 billion yuan.
