Special Supplement: Pyrotechnic show to light up Macau skyline

The 19th edition of the annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest will be held on September 15, 22, 25, 29 and October 1 near the waterfront facing the Macau Tower.

Since its inception in 1989, the contest, which is organized by Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), has become a hugely popular pyrotechnic show.

The event attracts professional teams as well as spectators from all over the world. Ten internationally-acclaimed pyrotechnic show companies and fireworks manufacturers from several countries and regions, including the mainland, the birthplace of fireworks, will take part in the show this year.
