Soldiers star donors at county blood bank

Soldiers stationed in Qian'an, a county in Hebei Province, have been volunteering for seven years to donate blood to a local blood bank.

"Our blood bank is responsible for supplying blood to 670,000 locals and 15 hospitals throughout the county. Each year, we need about 2 million milliliters of blood," a Mr Fan, head of the blood bank, said.
