Central bank review
The central bank yesterday said China's financial market remained "stable" while trading was "active" in the first half of this year. The interbank lending market has seen trading grow by a dramatic 312.7 percent in the first six months to reach 2.92 trillion yuan. Bond issues grew by 18.25 percent in the same period, mainly central bank bills and financial bonds issued by the policy banks.
