Did police use speedboat to go fishing?

Hong Kong marine police is investigating a police speedboat accident, which is believed to have occurred when policemen took the boat for fishing in a reefy area.

The speedboat ran aground on June 21 in waters off Stanley, Hong Kong, and repairs will cost about HK$3 million. The policemen said that the accident occurred when they were chasing an illegal fishing boat. But the radar record does not corroborate their claim.
