Man throws acid on neighbor in fit of rage

In a fit of rage, a Beijing man splashed acid on a woman living next door, after her dog barked at him and also defecated outside his door. This happened on April 7.

Fortunately, the woman, Wu, did not suffer serious injuries as the acid was of light concentration. However, she sued Ma for 10,000 yuan ($1,282) in compensation on Tuesday. In court, Ma disputed the compensation amount saying the dog was a constant source of annoyance. The hearing will continue next week.
