Investors relieved
China's main stock index rose 2.92 percent yesterday, as investors were relieved the government did not announce any further moves over the weekend to cool the economy.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 4,253.35 points yesterday. Turnover on the Shanghai A share market was 182.2 billion yuan.
