Biting dog finally gets its day, thanks to a duck
The police in Wanzhou in Chongqing have managed to kill a "serial biter" dog that had been avoiding capture for more than four months.
The large vagrant dog, weighing more than 40 kilograms, had bitten 11 people since November last year.
The dog was so feared, quite a few old people and children dared not leave their homes.
Police attempting to kill the dog initially failed, even after it was fed poison bait: pig lung mixed with 100 sleeping pills, on two separate occasions.
Determined police then had to use a special medicine mixed with the duck's meat. After eating the mixture on March 25, the dog died in a field four hours later.
