Real estate crackdown
Eight ministerial level government departments will launch a joint campaign to regulate the real estate market, an attempt to rein in soaring property prices, according to a statement yesterday.
Inspections will begin this month and target irregularities in real estate projects and cover everything from land approval to sales.
