Radioactive water leaks

The leak from a coolant pump on Sunday splashed four employees at the Takahama No 1 nuclear power reactor in western Japan, but later checks showed there was no effect on their health, according to a Kansai Electric Power Co statement.

No water leaked outside the plant, which had been shut down for routine inspections since November, according to Kansai Electric official Satoru Kawanishi.
