Bounty for 'killer' leopard

Authorities in India-administered Kashmir yesterday offered a reward of 10,000 rupees ($225) to anyone helping catch a leopard thought to have mauled to death three children in 10 days.

Hundreds of villagers protested on Sunday after a leopard dragged an 8-year-old girl from her house in Chatragul, a forested area in south Kashmir. Her mangled body and blood-soaked clothes were found among pine trees, police said.
