Clearing channels
The government will invest 1 billion yuan ($120 million) in clearing shipping channels on the Yangtze River, China's longest, this year.
The funds, earmarked by the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau, are to be spent on dredging and removing rocks along 10 stretches.
