'Heavenly King' of Hong Kong

Andy Lau is a Hong Kong singer and actor who has enjoyed an extremely productive career and an army of fans that cut across all Chinese-language markets. Born in 1961 to a rural family, Lau went into television in the early 1980s and soon after graduated to movies and singing. He has more than 100 starring roles under his belt and has recently taken on the job of producer.
Hailed as one of the "four heavenly kings" of Hong Kong pop music in the 1990s, Lau has remained at the top of his game using the winning combination of boyish looks, versatility and inexplicable charm. In a Back to the Future-style movie, he is portrayed as the future chief of Hong Kong.
