The countdown to Sanyuesan Festival is on, and international friends in Guilin, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, are already getting into the festive spirit.
A group of 40 teachers and students from Vistamar School in the United States visited Qingdao Changjiang School on Thursday in Jimo district, Qingdao, Shandong province. They immersed themselves in traditional Chinese culture, trying their hand at calligraphy and paper-cutting, and experiencing the elegant sounds of the guzheng (a traditional Chinese zither). They also joined their Chinese peers in basketball games and martial arts activities.
