Gan Zongtao sings outside his office in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, Jan 22, 2017. Gan, 59, has been a security guard for the same community in Chengdu for 19 years. After his wife and daughter died, Gan came to Chengdu from Neijiang, a city southeast of Sichuan, and worked this job ever since. As the only security guard, he has to stay on duty even during Spring Festival holidays.
