Beijing Galloping Horse Media Co Ltd, a private entertainment and media company, announced on Friday that, Jin Yan, wife of the late chairman of the company, has been appointed as chairman and general manager of the studio, as approved by the board of directors.
Li Ming, founder and former chairman of Beijing Galloping Horse, died on Jan 2, according to the company's website. It was reported that he died of myocardial infarction.
Beijing Galloping Horse has covered business ranging from movie production, distribution, theater operation and advertisement. It is in the process of launching an initial public offering.
