Frasers Hospitality confident about Chinese outlook

The positive market reception to our properties is also reflected in the number of awards we have received over the years, most recently China’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand and China’s Leading Serviced Apartments for Fraser Suites Chengdu by World Travel Awards and several awards from China Hotel Starlight Awards.

In the long run, our expansion in China is geared towards our global target of 30,000 keys by 2018/2019. Frasers Hospitality’s global portfolio, including those in the pipeline, stands at 132 properties in 77 key gateway cities, and more than 21,000 keys worldwide.

3. What is Frasers Hospitality's biggest achievement in China?

Our achievements in China have not only been the rapid pace of our growth, but also the international recognition our properties in China have received.

This year we received more than 15 industry awards for China alone, which most recently include

China’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand by World Travel Awards for the third consecutive year, China’s Leading Serviced Apartments by World Travel Awards for Fraser Suites Chengdu, Best Serviced Apartment in China by Golden Horse Awards for Fraser Suites Top Glory Shanghai, Best Serviced Apartments Brand of China by China Hotel Starlight Awards and the Most Preferred Serviced Apartments for Business Travelers of China by China Hotel Starlight Awards for Fraser Suites Suzhou.

These achievements are a reflection that we are indeed meeting the needs of travelers in China and that there is a continued demand for what we offer.

4. What is the secret of your business' success in China?

We are unwavering in our efforts to anticipate and exceed the expectations of travelers, which are always evolving, and to do so through continuous innovation and enhancements. We also strive to deliver a level of service that is not only of a high standard but is also intuitive to their needs.

5. What do you think about the Chinese dream? What are the dreams you have for your company in China?

Our vision is to be a leading global hospitality group and the preferred choice of our customers, employees and business partners. China is a very key market for us and will continue to play an important role in helping us achieve our goal of 30,000 units globally by 2019.
