Cold winter a challenge to city sanitation workers

Yang Weixia, 48, a city sanitation worker, cleans the street in Harbin, Heilongjiang, on Jan, 16. It is Yang's 32nd year working as a city sanitation worker. "Winter this year has been extremely cold and has had lot of snow. We have been always working overtime this year and it's very usual for us to get frostbite," said Yang. Like many other city sanitation workers, Yang works more than 10 hours a day without vacations or weekends.
