The 13th China International Software and Information Service Fair will open on June 16 at the Dalian World Expo Center in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province.

The four-day event, themed "Smart Data, Smart Interconnection", has attracted more than 700 companies from 20 countries and regions to exhibit their products and services. More than 20,000 technology experts have registered to attend the fair.

"Everything is ready," said Cui Tie, deputy director of the organizing committee office, at a press conference on Tuesday in Dalian.

He revealed that more than 50 seminars and activities will be held, which will focus on big data, smart cities, cross-border cooperation and mobile Internet.

The key seminar will be the China International Software and Information Service Forum & Entrepreneurs' Summit 2015. More than 10 speakers will take part, including Chinese and foreign ministerial-level officials as well as global IT service leaders.

Kevin Kelly, founding editor of Wired magazine and author of Out of Control, will give the keynote speech.

As China's only national software fair approved by the State Council, the CISIS is organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Liaoning Province.

It is one of the most influential annual events in the China software industry calendar.
