The ocean is central to our shared future, but it is also a place where competition, tensions and environmental challenges are on the rise.
At the 7th Symposium on Global Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, more than 400 participants from over 30 countries and regions—policymakers, representatives of international organizations, scholars and industry representatives—are focusing on some of the most pressing ocean issues of our time.
The symposium, running Friday to Sunday, is jointly organized by institutions including the Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance and the China Ocean Development Foundation.
