Digital, intelligent empowerment: Innovation driving the future
China Telecom is building digital infrastructure for the AI era. It's developed four fully domestically produced, liquid-cooled intelligent computing clusters, each with 10,000 AI accelerator cards, across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is also expanding its AI data center (AIDC) network. Moreover, the group's existing data centers have a combined capacity of nearly eight gigawatts, making it China's largest AIDC service provider.
The company's Xirang computing power platform connects and allocates resources across regions, service providers and architectures. It manages these resources centrally and supports efficient scheduling, with more than 119 EFLOPS of computing power available for allocation.
China Telecom has built the world's first and largest co-built and shared 5G standalone (SA) network. It pioneered the large-scale deployment of a new cloud-network integrated metropolitan area network and built the world's largest reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM) network.
It is also developing an integrated satellite network spanning space, air and ground, combining narrowband and broadband connectivity and coordinating high and low-Earth-orbit satellites. The company was also the first in the world to enable direct satellite connectivity for mobile phones.
To serve its external customers, China Telecom has launched Xingchen TokenHub, a platform hosting more than 140 large language models. Its AI-native products include the proprietary Xingchen super agent TeleAgent and the AI Store portal.
The company has also introduced products such as Tianyi Smart Ringing, Smart Screen, Smart Viewing and Cloud Smart Phone, bringing new intelligent services to households. It is deepening the integration of government, business, home and consumer (GBHC) scenarios across production, daily life and social governance. This includes linking smart communities, digital villages and video networking to upgrade services and support digital transformation across industries.
