In Yuli county in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, residents from different ethnic backgrounds work together in agriculture, e-commerce and tourism, contributing to regional prosperity and improving their livelihoods.

Zhou Jinshan, a 62-year-old villager from Daxi village in Yuli of the Bayingolin Mongol autonomous prefecture, helped his 51-year-old neighbor, Ablikim Musa, plant crops and taught him how to operate agricultural machinery.

Their friendship began a decade ago. "I first met Ablikim Musa on the road when my vehicle ran out of gas, and he helped refill it so I could get home," Zhou recalled.

Today, they live next door to each other on Daxi village's "pomegranate alley". Whenever they encounter difficulties, they turn to each other for help. "It feels like destiny," Zhou added.
