Photographers document modernization, ecology in Jiangsu's Jianhu county

"Photojournalism creates visual archives of our era. It records vivid practices of Chinese modernization and fuels local high-quality development," said Lan Hongguang, president of the China Photojournalists Society. He added that the foundation of photojournalism lies at the scene, its strength comes from authenticity, and its vitality hinges on practitioners continuously sharpening their footwork, eyesight, thinking, and writing to reflect local realities faithfully.
