Time-travel night cruise wows Malaysian, Thai visitors in Linyi

Visitors from Malaysia and Thailand experienced a night cruise along the Suhe River in Linyi, Shandong province, on Oct 24, where lights, water mist and changing scenery brought the city's history to life.
"It feels like traveling through time," Kim Rui Yu from Malaysia said, as the cruise offered a different way to experience Linyi's history and culture.
The boat cruise takes visitors on a 4-kilometer journey lasting about 50 minutes, using light, water effects and live performances to bring Linyi's history and culture to life, including stories of historical figures such as Zhuge Liang, a renowned military strategist during the Three Kingdoms period (220-280), and Wang Xizhi, a celebrated calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420).
