Leaves have turned red in many parks across Beijing, where autumn is in full swing. Local authorities have suggested selected viewing sites and themed routes for residents and visitors to experience the capital's autumn charms.
In Changchun, Jilin province, a 127-year-old painted maple on the grounds of the Songyuan Hotel shines its brightest in late autumn. When autumn wind blows, its leaves shift from green to yellow, then to crimson, wrapping the courtyard in color.
