Wang Yi to attend Global Governance Forum in Xiong'an

Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend the opening ceremony of the 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiong'an) in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei province, on Oct 23, and deliver a keynote speech, the ministry's spokeswoman Mao Ning announced on Wednesday.

Wang will put forward practical measures to further implement the Global Governance Initiative and promote the building of a more just and equitable global governance system at the forum, Mao said, adding that he will also meet with foreign guests attending the event.

"We are confident that the forum will provide an opportunity for participants from home and abroad to contribute insights to the global effort to tackle challenges together and reform and improve global governance," Mao said.
