On Sunday, nearly 30 teams participated in a competition designed to see if their robots could tackle a variety of challenging scenarios, such as crossing broken bridges and climbing steep slopes, in Beijing E-Town.
Their presence highlights the growing industrial demand for robots to assist in production and transportation.
Additional challenges included passing through tight spaces, navigating debris, descending stairs, wading through water to clear hazards, and moving through uneven terrain.
One team was composed of high school students, underscoring the increasing popularity and accessibility of robotics skills in Beijing.
