The city recommends 20 of the most colorful leaf forests and 10 premium mountainous forest trails to help residents and visitors discover the vibrant autumn scenery in Beijing's suburbs. Labagoumen Manchu township is one of these 20 stunning forests.
As Beijing's northernmost ethnic township and the city's only natural ecological area with a primeval forest, Labagoumen Manchu township boasts expansive forests, starry night skies, centuries-old trees, and rare resources including wild truffles.
The Beijing Planetarium's Maoshan Astronomical Observation Point was inaugurated here. For many years, visitors have come to admire the autumn foliage during the golden season.
