Harbin Polar Park unveils AI-powered interactive Giant Sphere

Harbin Polar Park in Heilongjiang province unveiled the world's first interactive AI digital media on Monday in the form of the Giant Sphere.

Developed by the park's young creative team, the Giant Sphere is the first successful integration of 8K naked-eye 3D panoramic display and AI real-time voice interaction technology in an outdoor scene.

The sphere's surface is assembled from tens of thousands of custom high-density LED display modules, utilizing curved correction technology and high refresh rate panels to achieve an 8K ultra-high-definition resolution. Visitors can stand at any angle around the sphere and enjoy smooth, detailed, and immersive naked-eye 3D visuals.

The content spans multiple themes, including polar wonders, fantasy cosmos, and animal carnivals. Additionally, the Giant Sphere will feature exclusive content for seasonal changes and major holidays.

Taotao, the park's mascot, has become the Giant Sphere's most popular digital guide among children. Taotao can accurately respond to inquiries thanks to its powerful real-time semantic understanding capabilities.

The sphere also presents creative and stunning light shows at scheduled times each day.
