The northern route of the tour allowed visitors to admire Tianchi Lake, the galaxy-like Changbai Waterfall, Yinhuan Lake, Lvyuantan Pool, the underground forest and Jvlong Hot Springs. Besides enjoying the landscapes, visitors got a taste of eggs boiled in the hot springs.

"We saw Tianchi, which is often hidden, on our first visit," said 26-year-old Meng Hanlin, a tourist who drove from Changchun. "I was deeply moved by the beauty of our country's borderlands, with the blue sky and water reflecting each other at Tianchi. It was a wide and magnificent view."
