These aerial photos show chili peppers drying in Xinjiang's Gobi Desert

On Friday, a local photographer used a drone to capture a series of photos of a drying yard in the Gobi Desert of Qigexing town, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

In the images, farmers spread chili peppers out to dry for sorting and further processing, portraying a bountiful harvest in fiery red. The county has now grown roughly 6,700 hectares of chili peppers on a large-scale and standardized basis.
