Hebei expo showcases green building, capsule homes

Green building innovation and living environment upgrading took center stage as the 2026 Gaobeidian International Green Smart Healthy Building Expo opened on Saturday in Gaobeidian, Hebei province.

A highlight of the expo was the debut of 22 commercial capsule homes from Hebei Orient Sundar Window Industry. According to the company, the units combine domestic and international research and aerospace-derived design to keep indoor temperature, humidity, oxygen, noise, and cleanliness at comfortable levels without conventional air conditioning, heating, or gas equipment.
