Harvest season spotlights vibrant Hakka culture in Fujian

Gather joy inside China's circular earth homes! The annual sun-drying harvest season has arrived at the tulou, or earthen buildings, in Longyan, East China's Fujian province. Inside the ancient homes, hundreds of bamboo baskets filled with golden grain, red chilis, and bright orange persimmons are spread along eaves lining the circular corridors.
