Senior Jiangsu official under investigation for suspected serious violations
Liu Jianyang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and head of the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of Party disciplines and national laws, the country's top anti-graft watchdog said on Monday.
The announcement was posted on the official website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Commission of Supervision.
Born in April 1966 in Lianhua county, Pingxiang, Jiangxi province, Liu began his career in July 1985 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1986.
In 2022, Liu was transferred to Jiangsu province, where he has served as a member of the provincial Party committee's Standing Committee.
