A grassland in Sangzhi county, Hunan province, has become a popular summer destination for visitors seeking cool air and clear views of the starry night sky.

As the sun sets and city lights fade, the sky above the Nantan Grassland comes alive. The Milky Way stretches over the mountaintops, visible to the naked eye on clear nights.
