Over 100 power repair personnel deployed to Gyirong after mudslide
More than 100 power repair personnel and dozens of emergency power units have been deployed to Gyirong county following the mudslide in Shigatse, Xizang autonomous region, State Grid Xizang Electric Power said on Friday.
As of 10 am, 106 repair personnel, 13 emergency power vehicles, 52 generators, and 39 lighting units had arrived in the affected areas to support power restoration.
Additional equipment has also been mobilized from other regions, including 19 lighting units, two drone-based lighting systems, and two mobile charging stations. The equipment is on standby for deployment based on conditions at the disaster sites.
The company said it would continue to reinforce emergency power support and deploy additional personnel and equipment as needed to accelerate restoration work.
