In late August, Erhai Lake leaves its most vibrant shades of green along this ecological corridor. Cycle along the lakeside path, and as you round a few gentle bends, Bai villages unfold one after another along the shore. Cangshan Mountain rises on one side, while Erhai Lake stretches out on the other. Further ahead, groves of trees emerge gracefully from the crystal-clear lake, their branches and reflections shimmering together on the water. At Haishe Ecological Park, groves and meadows stretch along the shoreline, with wetland inlets scattered across the landscape. Cloud shadows drift slowly across the landscape, and time seems to slow with them. The mountain is serene, and the lake is gentle. Here, early autumn unfolds in every breeze and every shade of green along the way.
