He noted that the first is reverence and respect for nature, including communion with the natural world. The second is its inclusive and diverse nature, as Hongshan culture shared deep ties with both the Yellow River and Yangtze River basins in the Central Plains. This inclusivity stands as the root cause behind the unbroken continuity of Chinese civilization.
