For the project, the orchestra worked with young composer Zheng Yang on the adaptation and orchestration. The score draws on several well-known works and musical themes, including the violin concerto The Butterfly Lovers and Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers.

The creative team reworked and connected the melodies through new arrangements, adapting them to the historical context, visual rhythm and cultural characteristics of Jingdezhen.

The resulting score combines traditional Chinese musical and cultural references with Western orchestral language and contemporary musical elements. Through the combination of music and imagery, the film traces the development of Jingdezhen's handmade porcelain industry and highlights its cultural significance and continuing vitality.
