Homicide suspect arrested by police after fleeing in Henan

A man surnamed Xia, the suspect who escaped after a recent intentional injury homicide case in Zhumadian, Henan province, was arrested by police on Saturday, according to local authorities.
Xia rented an apartment in Houyuan community, Xiping county of Zhumadian to store sundries. On July 30, he got into an argument with his neighbor surnamed Hou over trivial matters, before stabbing Hou to death with a knife.
He also injured multiple innocent passers-by while on the run from authorities.
At around 4 pm on Saturday, he was arrested by the special investigation team in Kongzhongguo town in Luohe, a neighboring city of Zhumadian.
Investigations are currently underway.
