Thirty-nine people have died and nine others remain missing in flood disasters across the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, including the Liulan Reservoir breach in Nanning, local authorities said at a flood control and disaster relief news conference on Thursday. Search, rescue and relief efforts are continuing.
