Gansu landslide leaves 33 trapped, 17 rescued so far

A landslide struck Renzang village in Tanchang county of Longnan, Gansu province, at about 6:56 am on Tuesday, leaving 33 people trapped, according to local authorities.
As of the latest update, 17 people had been rescued, while search and rescue operations remain underway.
Following the disaster, provincial authorities launched an emergency response. Rescue operations are being coordinated by emergency management, firefighting, medical, public security, transportation, power supply, and telecommunications departments, which have mobilized personnel and equipment to search for those still trapped, relocate affected residents, and prevent secondary disasters.
