RCSC to donate $300k to Venezuelan Red Cross to aid in earthquake relief efforts

On Tuesday, the Red Cross Society of China said that it will provide an emergency humanitarian cash assistance of $300,000 to the Venezuelan Red Cross in response to the two powerful earthquakes that struck the nation last week.
The funds will be used to support relief efforts and post-disaster reconstruction in affected areas, the RCSC said.
At least 1,719 people have died following the earthquakes on June 24, with some 5,000 more injured, Venezuelan authorities said on Monday.
