3 dead in suspected LPG explosion in Huludao, Liaoning

Three people have died following a suspected liquefied gas flash explosion at a residential building in Huludao city, Liaoning province, local fire and rescue authorities confirmed on Monday afternoon.

The explosion occurred at 7:11 am on Monday.

Fire and rescue services dispatched 95 personnel and 14 fire trucks to the scene, where eight people sustained minor injuries. Three residents who were initially reported missing were later found dead.

Authorities said post-incident work and investigations into the cause of the explosion are underway.
